Only accept warranties which are full manufacturers warranties on New Tape. Unfortunately many companies advertise their tapes as "New" when in reality they are something less than new. This is an unethical practice and often floats the line of legality as well. Remember, "Like new" "Refurbished" "Open Box" and "Broken Seal" are NOT NEW. If a dealer does not offer a warranty with their product the product is not new either. ALL NEW Data tapes come with a full manufacturer's warranty. Don't accept any thing less
